The plugin allows you to select Smart Frame IDX links from your flexmls account and apply them to widgets to narrow the listings.
The following widgets allow you to select IDX/Saved Search links from your flexmls account:
IDX Slideshow, IDX Search, 1-Click Custom Searches and IDX Listing Summary.
1.) Log into the flexmls account the plugin was purchased under and go to Search > Quick Search. Select a quick search template.
2.) Enter your search criteria in the left-hand column
If a field you need to use for your search is not displaying, use the Add a field to the search field
3.) After you have entered the criteria, click Save>Create IDX Link.
4.) Name the saved search and click on Save (top-right of the page). You will be brought to the IDX Manager. Steps 1 and 2 will automatically fill out the settings to connect your link to the saved search you just created.
5.) Fill out Steps 3-6 and click “I’m Ready! Save This Link” at the bottom or Save on the top-right of the page.
6.) In order to refresh the IDX link list in the WordPress plugin, we must clear the cache. Go to Flexmls® IDX>Settings
7.) Click the Clear Cache button on the bottom. This will refresh your IDX Link/Saved Search list in the shortcode generator/widget editor.
8.) Once the page finishes reloading and the Clear Cache box is unchecked, the new IDX link should appear in the list now.
IDX Manager in the flexmls account you purchased the plugin under. The IDX Manager is under Preferences in the flexmls menu.
Once the cache has been cleared you should be able to select your new IDX link…
* – Selecting (Use Saved Default) refers to the IDX link you have set under Settings>flexmls IDX>Behavior – “Default IDX Link”
If you’d like to narrow the search results to specific types of listings (e.g. active listings only), create a saved search in your flexmls account, create an IDX link for it (Step 3 above), clear the cache in the plugin (Step 7), create a new widget and select the link under the IDX Link or Saved Search drop list.
